Step outside and breathe the crisp air as you walk through the winter sun. Dry leaves underfoot and the sound of the streams filling up with cold water from the melting snow further up in the hills.
As the winter is nearing spring there is no better time to take note of all the differently shaped seed pods left from last summer’s growth and the green iridescence found in patches of moss, breaking up the otherwise muted color story. The bare tree branches are soon to bud again.
